Outdoor Log Inoculation - 11th February - Stockport - 6:30pm

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to grow mushrooms the traditional way: on hardwood logs! This session will be held in Stockport, and no experience is needed.

We’ll cover the whole process step-by-step, from choosing the right wood to drilling, inoculating and sealing your log. This is a wonderful brilliant low-tech, natural growing method that produces mushrooms outdoors for years with very little effort.

Together we’ll inoculate logs with Oyster Mushrooms, and you’ll get to take your own inoculated log home (verrrrry Twin Peaks)..to watch it colonise and eventually fruit.

Expect a relaxed, hands-on morning with plenty of time for questions and tips. Ideal for beginners, gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and anyone who loves a peaceful, practical outdoor craft.
