Mycelium Nest

The Mycelium Nest is grown from living mycelium in our studio in Stockport. Its inspired by natural nest forms, it looks at the idea of shelter, structure through fungal growth.

Each Nest develops its own character during cultivation...no two are alike. Depending on the strain and environment, pieces may appear white, yellow, or a natural mix of both, with visible textures from the fungal network and mould as it forms and dries.
